Candy Land

Tonight after Korry and I finished playing Settlers of Catan we played Candy Land with Kennadee. It was the first board game she's ever played and she really loved it although she has a very hard time understanding the concept of sharing and taking turns. She always amazes us with how smart she is too. Even though she only says "blue" & "black" she knows the difference between the colors. When she would draw a card she would then find a color the matched it without out help, not usually in the right spot, but the same color none the less.

You know that expression, wrapped around her little finger.
I think this picture proves it's true with Korry & Kenna.

I'm just throwing this picture on the end of my post because I'm so excited about all the growth that's been happening in our family. The last three months we've felt at times like this ficas looked. Now things are slowly improving and we feel very blessed to come as far as we have. It may seem ridiculous to compare life to a half dead ficas but I think it fits perfectly in our situation. Sometimes things have to fall all apart in order to move on, grow, and become even better. Thanks for reminding us little ficas.

It has the cutest little leaves I've ever seen. :) I'm not a murderer after all.
