Kennadee loves to swim! She begged and begged to go into the water and so finally Korry took her over to the steps to put her feet in. Unfortunately his flip flops didn't have much traction, he slipped on the wood, and Kennadee fell fully clothed into the lake. Luckily she had a life jacket on. When we pulled her out of the water she was completely soaked and shivering like crazy. She was crying but not for the reason you'd expect. As Korry began to take her life jacket and clothes off she threw a big tantrum crying, "No, No! Lake! Swim in the lake!" We figured she was already soaked so Korry took her back in. She shivered and shivered but was happy as could be because she got to swim in the lake.
Put me back in the lake!
So daddy threw her back
Before we left Elder Wheeler caught a little turtle, it was about the size of a fifty cent piece. If anything came to close to it's mouth it would try to bite it. Kennadee decided she wanted to feed the turtle a potato chip. She shoved it right at the little turtle, who was trying to protect itself and took a big bite of chip. Needless to say turtles do not like sour cream and onion chips. We finally got her to hold the turtle and the minute it moved in her hand she dropped it on the floor. The poor turtle really got it's share by the time Elder Wheeler put him back in the lake.
