Random thoughts

I know it's been a looong time since I posted but it's mostly because I make an effort to post with pictures and I cannot for the life of me find my dumb camera cord to get the pictures off the camera.  Excuses, excuses, I know.  Anyway, the beginning of the year Korry applied for Physical Therapy School and started interviewing at different places.  He was accepted at Rocky Mountain Health Sciences, A VERY small PT school in Provo, Utah.  He beings this May.  On a side note, I would like to add that he was on the alternative list to two other schools and just found out this week that he got into another school in Las Vegas, too bad for them we already chose Provo.

Anyway, so we found a house 20 minutes from the big city of Provo in a smaller city called Payson.  I think it's population is around 14,000.  It's big in a very small way.  It has Walmart, Smiths, Payless, and McDonalds, Wendys, Taco Time, and Subway.  Get the picture?  Big in a small way.  Bigger than what I'm used to and for the record I would gladly trade all those eating places for Red Baron.  At least I got to eat there once before I left Star Valley.

Our house here in Payson is bigger and nicer than anywhere else we've lived.  It's 2500 sq feet and has FIVE bedrooms!  We really don't know what to do with ourselves in such a large space and yet we are very glad to have closets and storage space at the same time.

I haven't been to church yet but the ward is called "The Maples."  Why?  I have no idea.  We don't have Maple trees here, right?   My neighbor tells me that there are 150 primary kids or so and that only TWO, (let me repeat that)  TWO people in the whole ward play the piano or organ.  Makes that calling last forever.  Thank goodness I don't play.  That same neighbor was put in as the choir pianist because she owns a piano, but she can't play it.  :)  Sweet huh?  The Maples ward consists of all my neighbors in the Maples HOA (home owners association) so anyone you meet at the private HOA park is in your ward if they are LDS.  And so far all of those neighbors I've met have one small child under three.  I am really starting to feel like the brady bunch mom with my 2 1/2 children.  Speaking of the park, it's a hop, skip, and jump away.  My kids want me to take them there every day.  Which is fine except that it's a whopping 90 degrees here already.  I think I might melt!

Our house has large window wells to the basement and sometimes when the kids are playing outside they'll kick their ball into the well and have to go inside the house, open the windows, to get to the ball. Yesterday when this happened, I was outside and they started banging feverishly on the window.  When I went to see what was the matter, I discovered that a snail had climbed up the glass and perched himself on the window.  The kids were trying to pound on the window to knock him lose so they could get there ball.  It was kind of cute.  We've never seen snails that just climb around freely before so it's kind of fun.  But I hear they eat your garden which is NOT fun.

Tomorrow is my last day of school for this semester.  I am getting very burnt out with school these days.  I really would like to be done for awhile until my kids are all in elementary school and I can have the freedom to attended classes in person.  Taking online classes gives you no depth and I'm tired of simply doing the work to get a grade and not learning or taking anything away from the class at the end.  I am glad that I've almost finished and entire year and a half though.

I am now half way through my pregnancy with baby number three.  I hit the half way mark tomorrow.  I am having issues finding an OB here in Utah because everyone tells me the hospital in Payson is horrible.  I can't decide if I should listen to other people or find out for myself.  We haven't decided if we'll find out the sex yet.

Kennadee has her first lose tooth.  Her hand is constantly in her mouth wiggling the little thing.  I want to cry now that she is so big.

That's it.  That's all my news for now.
