Our last family picture of 2008

I am spending a little time in my last two hours of 2008 to post to my blog. The day started off a little rocky but we had a great time at Dan & Angie's this evening. Angie and Julie mad Clam chowder & chicken noodle soup for dinner. Not to mention that my sister in law Angie makes the best rolls in the whole world. Everyone brought a snack/treat. I brought chocolate dipped snowballs, which basically were gross but Dave was nice enough to eat three or so to keep my spirit up.
After dinner everyone played/watched/listened to Guitar Hero. Then we played Giant spoons, which is kind of like musical chairs only with spoons and cards instead of music. Kennadee loves to be at the Jeske's house. She played dress up, danced with Savannah, played with sam & Andrew on the bunk bead, and ran around everywhere exploring the different toys.
For the first time I can honestly say I enjoyed New Years eve. At ten o'clock we brought Kenna home to go to bed and then played Settlers of Catan with Jeff and Lacey. I ended up going to bed at 2AM!
2008 was a pretty good year for Korry and I. Many new things happened for us. I not only got to ride on my first plane but on my first roller coaster. We got to explore the Seattle zoo and aquarium. I got to meet Stephenie Meyer and finish my Twilight obsession. Korry got his pro status for golf and played some super exclusive courses. We found out that we're expecting and then we found out it's a boy.
We have been more blessed through the gospel than even we realize. We got to send Korry's parents off on their mission. We have started having weekly family home evening, which we all really love, and family prayer at night. We love our primary calling and have went an entire year serving by teaching the nine year olds. We've seen the priesthood in action more in the last three months than ever before in our marriage. We even managed to make it half way through the Book of Mormon, (we didn't start until October.)
We're sad to see 2008 leave but even more excited for the new and hopefully good adventures that 2009 will bring.
