Our Eli Guy

Eli Weldon Wheeler
March 27
1:16 AM
7 Pounds 12 Ounces
19 1/2 Inches

I just have to say that I am the luckiest person in the world when it comes to being pregnant. We got to Logan at 8:30 Thursday night and was still at a 2 and 80 % effaced. They hooked me up to an IV with pitocin to start my contractions around nine. At about 10:15 the Doctor broke my water. After twelve the contractions were getting pretty steady and so I got an epidural (my anesthesiologist was a hoot.) When they checked me 30 minutes later I was dilated to a ten and ready to go. After ten minutes of pushing I had a perfect little boy. We really love him and are enjoying getting to know his little personality. Korry has already been updating him on the madness of march. Now the most exciting thing is to get him home so he can meet his big sister.
